Thinking of heading to a music festival this year? Well you should.

I was quick to assume that all music festivals were grungey, marijuana filled 1970 throwbacks.
#WRONG.
I attended Coachella for the first time 2 years ago. Since I’m not one with nature I was seriously surprised at how much I enjoyed myself. The palm trees, music, atmosphere, sun, and ofcourse fashion quickly changed my mind about the music festival scene.

Today I’m sharing my festival style tips so that you’re not just looking the part, you’re owning it ;)

Festival Style Tips for Foxy Babes

1. Jewelry

   

   All about those jewels ladies. Think gold and brass. With gems and dangles. Okay so, long layered pendant necklaces. Midi Rings. Feathers. Stacked bangles. Gypsy-ish jewelry. Armlets are in this year. Same with Flash Tattoos. You NEED this for festival time. It’ll add some glam to your festival chic wardrobe.

2. Shoes

   Whatever you do, pick comfy shoes. Heaven forbid you last one performer and have to go home because of the quarter sized blisters on your feet {I’m speaking from experience people}. DON’T DO IT. The worst part is that you will have wasted an outfit… Not cute. So let’s focus on LOW heels and not restricting because I’m telling you, the heat is major and so will be the situation inside those super cute booties if they aren’t comfy. Look for a little fringe, some cut outs or cute details to take your outfit to the next level.

3. Wardrobe

   

   Okay NOW, most importantly, clothing. I love getting ready for a music festival. It’s a time where you can really try new trends and see what works or what doesn’t. Wanna try a crop top but still a bit unsure? Now is the time. Do it. Here are a couple secrets I suggest for chic 2015 festival fashions:

Rompers. Belt it with a braided belt like I did in the photo. So perfect and easy to wear.
Day dresses {LAYERS. Bring a cute, light sweater or vest to throw over top}
Black jeans shorts. They go with everything.
LAYERS. yes again. Super important.
Crop Tops
Kimono style cardi or blouse over top a crop top/shorts combo
Vintage T-Shirts
Animal prints {Python, super trendy}
**Think flowy, gypsy-like outfits**
