Spring 2016 Trends

Um is anyone else feeling the serious spring vibes lately? So of course it’s time to start spring wardrobe shopping!

First things first, what the heck are the spring 2016 trends?!

Well let me tell you.

Lingerie By Day

OKAY NOT ACTUALLY LINGERIE. Cover it up. But silky slip dresses with a bit of lace are hot, hot, hot this spring. Layer the look or try a lace tank top for another outfit options.

Silky/Shiny Clothes

A little glitz and glam makes all the difference. Add some spark{le} to your wardrobe this spring for extra flash.

Shoulder-less Tops

I LOVE THIS. Omg I think shoulders are so hot. Shoulders > cleavage. It’s a classy way to show a little skin and add some sultry vibes for a night out. For a twist on the standard strapless tops, shoulder-less cut out tops are very trendy. Definitely on my shopping list.

Netting

Lace was in last year and still is, however netting is the next phase of this trend. Think fishnet meets shirt. I know it sounds totally weird but it’s the spring trend you’ll be seeing. When it’s done right, rock it, but I wouldn’t go all 1990 sweaty gym monkey with it.

Wrap It Up

LOVE this figure flattering look. Wrap dresses, wrap skirts or even wrap jumpsuits are huge. They provide such a flattering neckline and hemline for every size and shape.

Suede

PERFECT for my stampede and coachella girls. Suede is here! Girls do yourself a favor and buy some suede ankle booties this year if you haven’t already. Also, suede playsuits, tops, skirts, vests are in. ~~Mayyyybe~~ Probably too hot for stampede and coachella but a suede vest would be perfect.

Ruffles

Delicate frills and ruffles floated down numerous runways last year. Designers are backing up these ruffles with soft, pastel colors and experimenting with a number of different fabrics. So have fun with it too!
