Hay girl hayyyy
So I tried this new thing and I’m obsessed with it.
COLOR CORRECTION.
Don’t be scared and also don’t think you CAN’T do it.
You can, cause I can.
Who here has wished they could have a perfect complexion for even just one day?
You’ve come to the right place.
OKAY and best part? YOU DON’T NEED TO SPEND $312498 ON TOP BRANDS TO LOOK FLAWLESS!
Step into my office.
Color Correction
I use the Color Correction Palette by NYX and I’m so obsessed. I actually had a nightmare my color correction palette’s colors all got smushed together and it was so devastating. I have issues.
But honestly it’s so good and hELLO $14!?!??!?!
It’s also so compact and portable. Plus all the colors you need are in one palette. I researched {ofcourse} and SO many beauty bloggers are recommending this one!
So basically all you need to remember is that
whatever color you want to COVER UP, you apply whatever color is across from it on this fabulous color wheel.
This is the best part. It’s just like painting by color bahahaha
- Redness = GREEN
- Dullness = PURPLE
- Blue/Green {under eyes} = YELLOW/PEACH or ORANGE/RED
AFTER ONLY MOISTURIZER AND PRIMER start your color correction process….
I saw a little redness around my nostrils so GREEN went there and also on any blemishes.
YELLOW or PEACH went to my blue/green under eye circles in a large upside down triangle shape.
If you’re fair skinned, use peach. If you have really dark circles use yellow. If you have dark skin you can even use DEEP ORANGE or RED.
PURPLE is used anywhere to kinda brighten up your face. I LOVE to apply it on my high cheekbones and bridge of my nose + middle of my forehead.
LIFE SAVER: If you’re panicked just Google any color wheel and look on your phone. No need to have a meltdown.
Now I just used my fingers but you can use a concealer brush or large foundation brush to apply the colors.
Next, dampen your trusty beauty blender and press the colors gently onto your face so the color isn’t so vibrant.
I actually used a bit of my FAV translucent powder to set the color.
Top it with foundation or BB cream with your beauty blender GENTLY, making sure not to totally smudge the colors.
Finally apply a final coat of translucent loose powder to set everything in place. #Flawless!!!!!!!!!
Here’s the final look with my day makeup complete. I needed to blend my under eye a bit more but hey perfect is boring right?
That’s it! If you have ANY questions please comment them below and I’ll be sure to respond.
Have a wonderful week girlie
