Did you guys love yesterdays post?
Well we’re back at it with the 8TH DAY of Blogmas!
Today is all about holiday attractions in CALGARY, AB!
Yeah I’m talking to you YYC.
Growing up in Edmonton I absolutely LOVED driving down Candy Cane Lane or skating outside during the holidays. As we get older it becomes harder and harder to find time to do those festive holiday traditions.
I’ve gone ahead and done the backend work for you guys so all you have to worry about is calling up the squad and getting off that couch.
Calgary ZOOLIGHTS
I’ve never been but does this not sound amazing? Christmas lights at the zoo. I’m so down. It’s on nightly from 6-9pm until January 8th, 2017. Closed Christmas Day.
Calgary Olympic Park Tube Park
A TUBE PARK! Hop on and ride down 9 lanes, most of them close to 200 metres long.
The park is located on the main hill so many facilities including washrooms, restaurants, stores are near by.
They charge by the hour; one adult for 4 hours of fun is $31.99.
Outdoor Skating Date
Grab your skates and lace up. City of Calgary has a list of outdoor rinks and their conditions here. Such a fun date night idea or girls night out!
Lion’s Festival of Lights
Growing up, Edmonton has Candy Cane Lane which was always SUCH a fun time. Lions Festival of Lights in Calgary is the same idea. Hop in your car with a group of friends and slowly roll down the streets and gaze at all the gorgeous lights while staying cozy and warm. Don’t forget to bring a cup of cocoa!
Lastly, Date Night YYC has a TON more ideas. Go check it out and let me know what your fave date night idea was!
