Hey chickaaaa
Just poppin’ in to spill some fab holiday DIY decor secrets
Recently I went over for tea and chit chat with my BFF Alli. She had the CUTEST glittery candle jars and glittery reindeer stencil. Then she told me THEY ARE DIY PROJECTS. Well, that is definitely within my budget. Our other friend Sarah made the glittery reindeer stencil but Alli explained the process to me….. AKA I’m obvi telling you as well {thanks girls!!!}.
So copy, paste and SAVE these quickie DIY ideas girl.
PERFECT if you’re hosting a party or girls holiday get together this weekend.
DIY Xmas Stencil
- Canvas
- Glitter
- White Glue
- Clear tape
- Garbage Bag
Okay super cute and easy. Find a stencil online, draw the stencil onto the canvas {carefully} and use clear tape to tape around the stencil. Cover the area you want glittered with white glue. Then dump a ton of glitter {the more the merrier} onto the glue and press. Then let dry completely. Lastly, shake the excess glitter off into a garbage bag.
DONE!
DIY Glittery Candle Jars
- Mason jars
- Glitter
- Tea light candles
- White glue
- Twine
Okay so same idea. Grab some mason jars from the dollar store, smear glue all over the inside, toss in a TON of glitter and let dry. Then let dry. Wrap some fab twine around the tops into a bow. Lastly, pop a tea light candle into the jar and you’re done!!
Party Centrepiece
- Vase
- Chestnuts
- Cranberries
- Glitter/fake snow {optional}
OMG I am not artsy… BUT Alli inspired me to use what creative ideas I do have to whip together a fun and SUPER easy holiday party centrepiece!!
Just head to the grocery store and buy chestnuts and cranberries. Toss them into a vase and you’re done. hahaha so artsy right?! I also think you should sprinkle in some glitter or fake snow from the dollar store but I had none on hand. Such a cute idea though.
Now get crafty hunny. The holidays are here!
