We’ve got 5 days to gather the ingredients and whip up some super easy, totally tasty appies and treats for all of your holiday potlucks and family dinners.

One thing is certain, these christmas recipes will please even the pickiest eater AND are super quick so you can spend more time on what’s really important… getting ready ;) {duh}

First, we need a drink.

**Warning: You’re about to become a hostess Queen. So make sure your crown is in perfect condition**


Sip

Christmas Prosecco

Ingredients:
  • Prosecco {might as well make it a couple bottles}
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Pretty champagne flutes
Directions:
  1. Place several pomegranate seeds in the bottom of each flute
  2. Top with Prosecco
  3. Sip
  4. You’re now ready to whip up some tasty treats for your guests

 


Appies

Ham and Pickle Rolls

Ingredients:

  • Deli Sliced Ham
  • Pickles cut in half lengthwise
  • Cream Cheese spread {Can exclude if doing dairy-free}
  • Toothpicks
Directions:
  1. Spread cream cheese {or don’t} on one side of the ham slice.
  2. Place pickle half on one side of the ham.
  3. Roll the ham and pickle together
  4. Place toothpicks aligned on ham roll of where you want to cut it. Depending how big you want the bites.
  5. Place on a plate and serve!

 

Tortellini Spears

Ingredients:
  • Tortellini {meat, cheese, whatever you want}
  • Bamboo Kebab Skewers
  • Assortment of Sauces {marinara, cream, pesto, whatever favs you want}
Directions
  1. Cook the tortellini according to package directions
  2. Skewer about 3-5 tortellini’s onto a bamboo skewer
  3. Place sauces in dishes and serve :)
  4. People can dip their tortellini skewers in the sauces and enjoy!

Crescent Rolls

Ingredients:
  • Pillsbury Crescent Rolls
  • Pesto
  • Chicken {chopped up}
  • Feta
Directions:
  1. Unroll the Crescent Rolls into triangles as directed.
  2. Spread pesto on each triangle
  3. Top with some feta and chicken
  4. Roll em up
  5. Pop em in the oven as directed and TADA!

Have fun with it!! These are my fav kind but you can mix it up with whatever you life. Chicken, beef, sausage, mushrooms, sundried tomatoes, whatever! Also.. Nutella…. I’m just sayin…

Caprese Bites

Ingredients:
  • Cherry tomatos
  • Mini boccacini balls
  • Fresh basil
  • Balsamic reduction glaze
  • Toothpicks
Directions:
  1. Slice each boccacini ball in half.
  2. Skewer one cherry tomato, one piece of fresh basil and one boccacini slice onto a toothpick
  3. Place on serving tray
  4. Once finished, drizzle balsamic reduction glaze all over Caprese Bites

 


Treats

Peanut Butter Crunch Truffles

*These truffles are easily the most loved holiday treat I make for my friends/family every year. Hands down.*

Ingredients:
  • 3 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 cups creamy peanut butter
  • 3 cups Rice Krispies {I used vanilla flavoured}
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 3 bags of ChipIts chocolate chips
  • Red and green sprinkles
    **Okay this recipe makes a TON, so half it or make the full amount and freeze some for future use :)**
Directions:
  1. Mix together the powdered sugar, peanut butter, Rice Krispries and melted butter in a large bowl.
  2. Once mixed, melt the chocolate chips using a double boiler. Make sure you’re constantly stirring the chocolate chips to get a perfect consistently.
  3. Let the rolling and dipping begin!
  4. Place on a parchment paper lined cookie sheet
  5. Sprinkle with red and green sprinkles :)
  6. Pop them in the fridge for a solid hour or so
  7. ENJOY! ;)

Pistachio Cranberry White Chocolate Sugar Cookies

*Most talked about cookie recipe I’ve ever made. I’m giving you all my biggest secrets girl ;)*

Ingredients:
  • Betty Crocker Sugar Cookie Package
  • Pistachio pudding Jell-O Mix Package
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/2 cup shelled pistachios {I used a Maui mix this time which included macadamia, walnuts and almonds too}
  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips
Directions:
  1. Preheat oven to 350 F
  2. Mix the cookie package, pudding package together
  3. Add in the eggs and melted butter
  4. Mix it up girl
  5. Fold in the cranberries, pistachios and white chocolate chips
  6. Drop rounded spoonfuls onto a parchment paper lined cookie sheet
  7. Bake for 8-10 minutes. They will look underdone when you remove from the oven but TRUST ME, the one way you can ruin these is by over baking them
  8. Let them sit on the cookie sheet for 2 minutes
  9. SERVE. Make sure Santa get’s his share. Little trick to get that Mackage coat you’ve been swooning over.

Christmas Breaky Pancakes

Lastly, this is the recipe I make every Christmas AM for my family. It’s super easy and turbo cute.

  • Just make the pancakes according to your fav pancake mix. Fry up a number of larger and same number of smaller pancakes.
  • Crisp up some bacon.
  • Stack a smaller pancake onto the larger pancake as shown below.
  • Dot two whipped cream spots for the eyes and one for the nose.
  • Place two blueberries for the eyes and a raspberry for the nose
  • Rip one bacon in half and create ‘antlers’

There you have it. The BEST Christmas Breaky Pancakes ever. You’re welcome.

Now pour yourself another Prosecco. You deserve it ;)
