What’s in the bag?: Spring Products

Goooooood AM!

IT’S OFFICIALLY SPRING!

Time to shed those warm winter coats and start thinking about sun, flowers, sandals, patios and mango margaritas {hellllo}. Now let’s get started.

Ever wonder what I carry around on a day to day basis? Well today I’m opening up my Zac Posen.

So those are my necessities on a daily basis. Now let’s get into what are necessary for spring.

A Fresh Face.

A fresh, dewey complexion if vital for spring. Not sure how all of you other hunnies are doing but my skin has been freaking out with this dry, winter climate. I have sensitive skin that has expensive taste {are you surprised?}. Honestly, hair and skin are the 2 areas of beauty I will splurge on. My recent trip to Sephora was very successful {my bank account may say otherwise}. The ladies took my skin concerns and recommended 3 products for a perfect complexion. Now let me share:

Boscia Exfoliating Peel Gel

Okay, this stuff is liquid gold. If your time is precious like mine then you need this. It may seem gross {whatever}, but this new peel gel literally clumps up the dead skin cells into your hand when you rub it on your face…. Literally. Hello?! Amazing.

Origins Original Skin Renewal Serum

Not sure how to get that dewey glow? Here it is. Most serums are filled with anti-aging properties. This one is created for us 20 something year old that want to re-awaken our fatigued complexion for spring.

Shiseido Ibuki Protective Moisturizer SPF 18

A light moisturizer for sensitive skin WITH SPF. It’s hard to find a spf moiturizer that won’t make our precious skin break out. Here is the answer to our prayers.

Highlighting. SO pretty.

I am LOVING highlighting. Face AND hair. There is something so pretty and spring-y about brightening up your entire look. So add some highlights around your face and slather on some shimmer :)

When it comes to brightening up your complexion, Watt’s Up by Benefit is the answer. I’m always a fan of MAC Cream Colour Base in Pearl but Watts Up is super shimmery, golden and girlie, perfect for spring. If you prefer a pretty pink undertone purchase Girl Meets Pearl by Benefit. Throw some on your cheekbones, bridge of the nose, brow bones and cupids bow {top lip}.

Lastly, as winter is coming to an end, so are those long sleeves and scarves. Go out and purchase the GOSH Sundisk from Shoppers. My BFF and I stumbled upon this product years ago. It’s been a staple in my makeup cabinet ever since. Grab a large bronzer brush and sweep your shoulder, collarbone and neck for a quick and easy sunkissed glow.

Some lively, upbeat, bouncy hair is the perfect spring accessory. My amazing hairstylist from Hedkandi Calgary suggested Bumble and bumble’s Prêt-à-powder. You won’t be disappointed.

Blue Nail Polish

The bee’s knees this spring. Blue nail polish. It’s the perfect transition from those deep winter hues to a bright, flowery spring vibe. It’s edgy, trendy and seriously cute #Need.

Personally I use OPI “Yoga-ta Get This Blue”.
It’s bananas.

Those are the spring fling must haves. See you next week kiddos ;)
